Built in 1873, the Colin C. Baker was a 3-masted schooner partially owned and captained by Browning K. Baker of West Dennis (Mass.). From its home port of Boston, it sailed the Mid and North Atlantic in pursuit of trade in coal and other mined commodities. It was abandoned at sea in 1917. From the description of Schooner Colin C. Susie Young was born Susie Newcomb on February 11, 1843 in Quincy, Massachusetts. She married Micajah Young on April 16, 1873. Micajah was born on May 19, 1836 in Orleans, Massachusetts.
